Along with our other sports our golf program has been doing phenomenal. Olivia Mitchell, a student on the LT golf team has been putting in the work, six to seven days a week, and this season it has really paid off. Olivia has won many tournaments including first place in the varsity golf FORE a cure tournament at the bridges in Gunter, second place at the Frisco Cup tournament at Frisco Lakes, first place in the North Fourney Invitational at Firewheel, third place at the Argyle invitational at Robinson Ranch, and District runner up at the Varsity 9-AAAA District Tournament. She works for multiple hours everyday at her home course; Ridgeview Ranch, with her fantastic coach, Bruce Sims. LTHS golf has been doing great this year, we can’t wait to see how much they’ll improve in the next four years.
