Our hardworking basketball teams here at Lebanon Trail are continuing to represent our school even during games over the break. Over winter break the girls teams have a game on December 19th, while the boys teams play on December 27th, 28th, and 29th.

After talking to LTHS basketball players, Carissa Conger and Jake Garringer, we learned that they are excited for their games although they would have liked some things to go differently.

“It would be better if we were working out throughout the week” Carissa said when talking about getting ready for their games. Since their game is at the beginning of the week, Carissa mentioned that she doesn’t feel like their game will be affected.

“A lot of us want to spend time with our families” Jake Garringer stated when asked how he feels about having these games. All the teams are excited for these games though, and the boys hope to place in the top three at their tournament that are playing.

Neither of the players had to personally change their holiday plans, but they both knew of others who had to cancel or reschedule family trips.

The girls’ game against Reedy will be held here at Lebanon Trail and the boys’ tournament will take place in Allen. Come out to support our Blazer basketball teams!
