Lebanon Trail’s orchestra went to their All-State competitions this past weekend at Plano ISD’s Jasper High School, and they reaped great results. Thousands of students from schools all across Texas participated in the competition. After lots of long, hard work throughout the summer and fall, three harpists from Lebanon Trail made it into the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Orchestras. This is a very reverable achievement, as only seven harpists are allowed, and this is one of the best accomplishments a Texan high school orchestra student can achieve. The three chosen harpists to perform with the TMEA All-State Orchestra are:

Kathleen Hopkins, 9th Grade, 1st Year Participant — 1st Chair

Marian Ma, 10th Grade, 2nd Year Participant — 3rd Chair

Isabel Tu, 10th Grade, 2nd Year Participant — 7th Chair
