Poorvi, a junior, likes to crochet, watch movies, and read books in her free time. Her favorite books include Harry Potter and The Goldfinch. She has always enjoyed writing and this is her second year being a part of the Vanguard Newspaper. Poorvi prefers to write news articles because she likes to hear people’s stories from different points of view and their experiences. In the future, she would like to do something combining her interests in biomedical sciences and journalism, such as writing research papers on genetics and new biomedical studies.
