Orlando’s Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure is a place for families, friends and loved ones to come together to enjoy and cherish memories that will last forever. 

You are greeted with an entrance that shows you the endless possibilities of how you can spend your day: from the world of Marvel to Harry Potter’s universe, Universal Studios has something enjoyable to offer for everyone. Instantly you are transported to a real-life version of the places you have only been able to dream about so far. Characters, settings, and imaginary places all spring to life in front of your eyes as you walk through the park. 

Immediately there is an array of food to choose from, something to satisfy what everyone is craving. From butterbeer to churros, to even fish and chips, every park within Universal has something to offer that fits their theme perfectly. 

What stands out the most about Universal Studios are the rides and adventures offered within each park. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Marvel Superhero Island, The Lost Continent and even Seuss Landing have countless ways to enjoy the theme park. The major roller-coasters being The Velocicoaster, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, and Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure, these rides are the most thrilling and adventurous rides to go on at Universal. 

The Velocicoaster allows for you to embark on a high-speed, riveting adventure, allowing you to feel like a bystander in Jurassic World. While waiting in line to get to the coaster, you will pass through multiple rooms that display artifacts, informative videos and even close ups of dinosaurs. 

The Incredible Hulk Coaster takes you on a gripping adventure as you go from zero to 40 mph in two seconds! The ride features seven inversions and a 110-foot cobra roll. It is definitely the ride for all the roller coaster fans that visit Universal, as the wait time for the ride can go up to 190 minutes. 

Although it may not be as intense as the other two rides, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure ride is the perfect combination of exciting and calm. The ride allows you to sit in either a motorbike or sidecar and takes you out into the forbidden forest with a few thrilling twists and turns along the way. You get to see up-close some of the magical creatures depicted in the World of Harry Potter such as centaurs, the devil’s snare and cornish pixies. 

However for visitors that prefer to explore less extreme rides, there are attractions offered in every theme park that incorporate more mellow adventures. The Flight of the Hippogriff is a very mellow rollercoaster that is suitable for all ages, Pteranodon flyers is a ride offered exclusively for kids at the Jurassic Park themed area, and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a 3-D ride that takes you on a spirited feat. 

Universal doesn’t forget water rides though! There are many water rides offered at Universal’s Islands of Adventure that will leave you soaked but ready to ride again. Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls drops you down a big slide at the end and leaves you soaking wet, and the Jurassic Park River Adventure takes you on a tour of Jurassic World with a surprising twist in the middle. 

On the whole, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure is the perfect way to spend time off with loved ones as a way to relax and have a lot of fun!
