That’s the Boba Tea, Sis!
The little black marbles popping into everyone’s drink nowadays are an enigma of how something such as a food item can become so popular.
7Leaves worker, Monalaine Santos, works at a boba shop in Frisco, Texas where the boba craze is at an all-time high.
“The popularity of Asian goods now is surprising to myself as a Filipino,” Santos said. “All my life I have been teased for having a different culture, but I’m glad that it’s finally being accepted.”
Boba tea, K-Pop, and other Asian goods can be found in the 99 Ranch Market area where everyone can enjoy the insurgence of new foods to try.
