LTHS DECA is partnering with the foundation One Warm Coat, to hold a coat drive for local families, which began Nov. 15 and will end Nov. 21.

The donation boxes are located near the front office, and the school store, and students can donate during the morning or during mega lunch.

The goal for DECA is to collect over 100 coats and over $200. In total, DECA has collected 60 coats.

According to Ms. Williams, one of the DECA sponsors, the charity was chosen because DECA wanted to help members of the local community, and local students who did not have coats.

“It’s our second coat drive, and we are really excited to help the Frisco community,” said DECA member Srihan Somepalli.
