With the month of October having come and gone, the holidays are upon us. Presently, Thanksgiving break is nearly upon us, with winter break not far behind. However, stress is still very present amongst students and staff alike- regardless of the coming vacations ahead. With upcoming college applications for the seniors, and plenty of due-dates to meet for everyone, academic pressure is at an alarming scale.

Assistant Principal Mrs. Hawkes shared some valuable advice in relieving academic stress.

“Make a to-do list and set a goal for what you want to accomplish in a given amount of time,” Hawkes said. “Know you can’t do everything in a day, and ask your teachers for help- and go to bed early. A lack of sleep will contribute to stress. Enjoy high-school, it should be fun!”
