Never Been Done
Lebanon Trail’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)is striving for 100% student participation, something that has never been done.
PTSA, a national organization, joins parents, students and teachers to provide better schoolwide education. The organization offers grants and individual scholarships frequently as more students participate. Currently, the organization plans to give out one scholarship worth $2,500 and two smaller scholarships worth $500.
“We have gotten lots of students to participate, but we hope to achieve 100% student participation to grow the program to a maximum,” Zain Kalson, PTSA Senior Student Representative, said.
PTSA’s biggest event is their membership drive until October 31. Register at joinpta.org.
