2018 All-Region and All State Orchestra
After auditioning on Saturday, October 13th, nineteen students from Lebanon Trail made the Texas Music Educators Association’s Region 24 All-Region Orchestra. Musicians prepare two etudes depending on their instrument. They have from May 1st, when the etudes are released on the TMEA website, until October 13th to practice their music and perfect their playing. Then on audition day they play parts of their etudes for judges who rank them comparatively to other students.
Those with the top rankings are placed by rank in chairs in the All-Region Orchestra. There will be a Region 24 Orchestra Clinic on January 12th of next year at Plano West High School, conducted by Philip Mann.

I feel so blessed with the chance to perform with the top musicians in Texas.”
