To support the American Heart Association, the Student Council is having a fundraiser in which students can give five, 10, or 15 dollars to support cardiac patients between Friday, January 22nd and Friday, February 9th. Since hearts are such a common staple for Valentine’s Day, an iconic Valentine’s Day gift is being sold at Lebanon Trail in order to support the people whose hearts aren’t substantially healthy. When a student donates five dollars on My Payments Plus or in the cafeteria, they will receive a teddy bear keychain. 10 dollars allows a teddy bear to be donated to a cardiac patient, and 15 dollars to not only donate a bear, but also to receive one for either themselves or for their valentine.
