Black History Month Assembly
On February 28th, our Lebanon Trail students put on a Black History Month assembly to commemorate and recognize famous Black men and women who have shaped the world. Coach Johnson put together the assembly during several advisory periods. The assembly started with the LTHS drummers and dancers dancing around the audience. The Emerald Elite and Ms. Mason’s dance class performed different African American dance styles. A few Lebanon Trail students gave speeches about various famous African American figures. Along with that, there was also a fashion show displaying different styles. The assembly closed with a speech by Noë Smith talking about what the month meant to her and her family. Great job to the Lebanon Trail students who all took part of the Black History Month assembly.
