Holiday Extravaganza

Holiday Extravaganza

On December 8th from 7 to 8pm was the Holiday Extravaganza featured in the Auditorium featuring band, orchestra, choir, theatre, and dance. The event was free but asked for donations to the Small World Angel Program, where they were giving children instruments that they wanted.

Parents from Frisco, Texas came to Lebanon Trail to witness their children perform. Harps performed first with Deck the Halls/ Good King Wenceslas. Orchestra then performed She Will Hang the Night. Afterwards, Symphonic Band joined Orchestra to perform Sleigh Ride, and both bands performed Santa Sing Along with Choir. Concert Band also performed Nut Cracker Suite. LTHS Theatre contributed to the performance by doing a reading from The Night Before Christmas. Emerald Elites and Dance 1 classes finished off the night by performing two versions of Jingle Bells.

“I had a really fun time performing in front of the audience. Performing with the Emerald Elite, and the Dance 1 dancers was a really exciting experience.” Emerald Elite dancer Solie Egbuna stated.

After the event, the audience left with Jazz Band sending them on their way with a song.
