Auditions for All Region were held in November and December. Now that the competition is over, the All Region Band will be playing together for the first time over Thursday and Friday at various locations. Band students rehearsed Thursday night from 5:00 to 9:00 PM after school. 9th Grade All Region, consisting of every Blazer who made All Region, will be performing at 6:00 PM on Friday evening at Heritage High School.

The Trail Blazers that made it into one of the All Region bands are reportedly nervous, but excited to be playing. Many students are hopeful that their hard work will have payed off, and proud of how far they’ve come.

Apart from 9th Grade All Region Band, there will be performances on Friday at both Heritage High School and Frisco High School. The 5A Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble Band will perform at Frisco High as follows: Concert at 6:30, Symphonic at 7:30, and Wind at 8:30 PM. 6A bands will be at Heritage along with 9th Grade.  After the 9th Grade Band performs, Concert Band will play at 6:45, Symphonic Band at 7:45, and Wind Ensemble at 8:45 PM. Our Trail Blazers in All Region will be part of the 5A performances.
